Sterilair is an innovative air filtering device that combines multiples strategies for sterilization. Consists in a ferromagnetic filter, which is heated wirelessly via magnetic induction with low energy consumption to termally deactivate the pathogens.

Details of the Technology Offer

STERILAIR technology is an air filtering device composed of a 3D sintered stainless steel microporous support, the surface of which is modified with carbon or damped plasmonic materials such as nickel, cobalt, iron, and chromium. The small, meandering pores of the filter provide passive particulate arrestment for nano- and microscale contaminants. The metal filter components, which are folded to increase resistance, are inductively heated using an electromagnetic field to create an environment capable of dry heat sterilization. STERILAIR is magnetically heated over 100ºC to deactivate all the microorganisms that prevail in the air, and it can work under large air flows.

STERILAIR can be integrated in any air circulation or air-conditioning system including air supply circuits of cabins in transport systems, surgery rooms, hospitals, biohazard laboratories, commercial premises and domestic air circulation systems.
