The solution proposed in this invention consists of an ergonomic blade, with modifiable geometry and behavior, thanks to a plate that deforms under hydrodynamic pressures, allowing a redistribution of these throughout the stroke cycle. This one-size-fits-all blade is presented to be used by swimmers of different levels, ages, and morphology, thanks to its adjustable geometry and influence on the behavior of use of the blade. The deformable, or flexing, plate has been optimized together with the structural plate to be adjusted by means of an effective and easy-to-use system of screws along numerous holes, which allow vertical, horizontal displacements, and counterclockwise rotations, seen from the top of the blade.
Swimming paddles are an accessory, usually plastic, that fits the swimmer's hands using different fastening methods, depending on the model, being installed in the palm of the hand. The arguments that support the justification of its usefulness are based mainly on the effect on the improvement of the technical execution and the effect of improvement in the force applied in each stroke.
In the market they are usually found in different shapes, materials and methods of use. The characteristics are defined by design issues of the manufacturers, as well as the type of target users and muscle groups that are intended to work. Larger paddles are often used for upper trunk strengthening, because the effort required to achieve displacement is much greater compared to swimming without paddles. On the other hand, small blades, which cause less stroke resistance than large blades, are often used to improve the swimmer's technique.
Due to the increase in the resistance of the stroke that the blades cause, they must be selected, adjusted and used correctly, so as not to cause injuries to the users. It is noticeable in the general environment of swimmers how this process is usually complex, and takes a lot of time and changes in the type of blades to satisfy their objectives.
