Details of the Innovation Need

In order to achieve perfume blooming in package opening, some products contain inside the packaging a perfumed card. We are looking for a different technology (e.g. hotmelt), compatible with both paper and plastic packagings of solid products.

We are particularly interested in technologies that:

  • do not require addition in line during the production (i.e. the tech should be added to the packs before going in production line)
  • use materials and processes that have no adverse LCA impact

There are no other restrictions on technology color and composition.

We will judge solutions based on:

  • Industrial availability or potential scalability of solution proposed
  • Cost and volumes availability – actual or projected
  • Performance for the end user product (blooming)
